I went on a 'Stick with it' workshop (can't remember the year), and adapted
some of the material to use for induction lessons and goal-setting. A lot of
what was presented at that workshop was more appropriate to teenagers in FE
than to adult ESOL students, especially those of us with extremely limited
IT resources. But there were some good underlying ideas about accommodating
adult life circumstances.
