The Department of Education is a thriving research-led and practitioner-orientated community that has links with a wide range of schools, universities and other educational institutions in the UK and worldwide. To further strengthen our activities in research and postgraduate teaching we are seeking to make a full-time appointment in the field of TESOL / Applied Linguistics.
We are looking for an outstanding scholar to build on and contribute to the research profile of the Department of Education as a member of the Language and Educational Practices research cluster. You will also contribute to the teaching and development of the Department?s academic programmes, principally the full-time MA TESOL programme but with some contributions to other Masters and Doctoral (PhD/EdD) programmes. Interest in a wide range of TESOL-related topics is therefore desirable.
You will have a doctorate in an appropriate field, relevant publications, as well as prior experience of teaching and supervision of dissertations / theses at postgraduate level.
