Hi
I am on an ESOL steering group with AoC and there was a meeting last week to discuss this with the awarding bodies as well as SFA and BIS.
The awarding bodies are saying info will go out in March at the earliest but it could take longer, especially if QCA hold things up. The likelihood is we will be looking at individual awards across each of the three skills (reading/writing/S&L). There will also need to be a discussion about what rate they will be funded at once they come out.
I would expect it to be very last minute for curriculum planning purposes, unfortunately. So warn your curriculum managers/directors!

Subject: Planning for next academic year
With all the changes to ESOL qualifications next year, and no information regarding funding yet, has anyone started to plan for 2014/2015?
