Hi in response to earlier postings about Barnsley:
I work as an ESOL tutor at Barnsley Adult and Community Learning. We are a small team of 2 ESOL tutors with about 100 students. We were inspected in Sept 2010 and awarded a grade 1 for our ESOL (Area 14) provision. Barnsley College was also inspected in 2010 and received a Grade 1. I do not know how many students/tutors there are in ESOL at Barnsley College. but they have more provision than we do.
I hope this clarifies things a little.
