Hi
I have just read Philida's report and it encapsulates so brilliantly everything that I know and believe about acquiring a second language and being tested on it. Is there any chance that the powers that be will take any notice of it? It is about time that ESOL learners were fairly taught and tested on their acquisition of language as second rather than first language learners.
