Part-time Bilingual (English/Panjabi) Education Research Fellow - 2 years, 60%

The appointee must be bilingual and biliterate in Panjabi and English and will be investigating the broad range of linguistic practices occurring in the multilingual setting of Panjabi classes. The researcher will contribute to fieldwork in several Panjabi classes in the Birmingham area, and to subsequent data analysis and outputs. This project is funded by the Humanities in the European Research Area Joint Research Programme (HERA JRP). The post-holder will work with Professor Adrian Blackledge and Professor Angela Creese.
Starting salary in the range of £27,319 to £35,646 a year (potential progression on performance once in post to £37,839).
