A brilliant photo -it stands on its' own - it doesn't need an explanation,
fantastic. Christine O'H

Dear All,
You may enjoy this - as good an illustration of natural inclusionality in
the dynamic relationship between local figural and non-local transfigural
aspects of natural flow-form as the imaginative mind could ask for.
Warmest
Alan

Dear Alan,
If you haven't already seen it, I thought you might enjoy this entry into
the BBC Wildlife Photography of the year competition. The picture, called
'Hurricane Tree' is from Sweden, and the tracks on the earth are made from
forestry machines retrieving the logs of fallen trees after a Hurricane has
hit the area.
I feel the picture rather beautifully illustrates what forms when energy
flows along watery paths of least resistance (here the gathering and
transport of trees, just as trees gather and transport the energy of
sunlight), not to mention ideas of ground in figure and figure in ground,
and of course the rather ironic tree-shaped scar that has resulted when
dead matter is not left to feed new life (although in this case I rather
suppose all trees are bound for the logging mill, hurricane or no
hurricane!).
Kind regards
Luke
p.s. I really enjoyed the extracts from your Treeworks presentation on
youtube...is it possible to access the other sections anywherere? There was
only a split second of applause at the end before the footage cut out, but
it appeared that the talk was very warmly received.
