Subject: Leeds ESOL materials group Monday 30 November
Hello all
The next meeting of the ESOL Materials Group is next Monday 30 November, 5.30 to 7.30, in room 8.94, EC Stoner Building, University of Leeds. All welcome!
The ESOL Materials Group is a new teacher-led group dedicated to the collaborative development of ESOL teaching and learning materials that are particularly appropriate and relevant for students in - broadly - the Yorkshire area. The materials we produce are freely available to teachers, and can be found on the 'Up North' section of the ESOL UK website: http://www.esoluk.co.uk/ . We are keen to open up the group to all ESOL teachers who would like to get involved, so please feel free to forward this message to your colleagues.
We are making increasing use of audio, photography and now video in our sessions: helpful if you are interested in introducing new technology into your teaching.
To get to the EC Stoner building: From the Parkinson steps (main University of Leeds entrance), facing the road, turn right, go straight down the hill past Hillary Place to the EC Stoner building, the very large building straight ahead. Room 8.94 is on Level 8, towards the left end of the building as you look at it from the Parkinson Steps.
EC Stoner Building is number 23 on the map at this link.

We look forward to seeing some of you on 30 November. Please get in touch with me if you want any more information. Otherwise, just come along!
Best wishes
