Hello all
Thanks Melanie for posting the link. I too await with interest people's views on the latest from DIUS re ESOL.
While we're at it, here's the NATECLA page with a description and a link to the recently published NIACE report: 'Migration and Community Cohesion: The implications for Lifelong Learning'

Cheers
James

Subject: DIUS - ESOL policy document: the long awaited report of the ESOL and community cohesion report
The report of the DIUS consultation on ESOL and community cohesion that many of us contributed to has finally come out. I haven't had time to read it yet - interested to know what people make of it...
The consultation report can be found here:
http://www.dius.gov.uk/~/media/publications/E/esol_consultation_report
And this seems to be a short version

Best wishes
Melanie
