Congratulations, Branko! I am absolutely delighted to hear you have your PhD.
I warmly remember presenting beside you at the BERA Annual conference and
meeting you nearer home when I was presenting a paper at the IATEFL event.
I am particularly interested in the section of your thesis where you write:
"electronic learning was not sufficient to help
teachers in taking over the role of action researcher"
Please can you share your experiences and those of your colleagues with us?
I am currently developing web-based resources for teacher researcher
mentoring and I want to understand better which aspects of mentoing might
usefully be web-based and which would benefit more from face to face
encounter. My work is being presented to the Teacher Learning Academy for
the Stage 4 Pilot - you can access sections from this presentation at
http://www.TeacherResearch.net
Also - there is a SURVEYMONKEY tool so if you or anyone else would like to
offer constructive feedback so I could develop these prototype resources,
please do,
Happy 2009!
