In response to a previous query, there are probably about 10 MA/MEd
courses by distance mode in the UK, if not more - Leicester, Aston,
Reading, Surrey come to mind immediately. Here at the Institute of
Education, University of London, we run an MA TESOL course that is
fully distance (i.e. no attendance requirements at all), though some
students also combine it with one term here in London on the face to
face MA, so it has got this type of flexibility in it.
You can find details of the course if you go to the IOE website,
www.ioe.ac.uk, and then type TESOL into the search box - email me or
the course administrator (Sarah Gelcich on [log in to unmask]) if
you have any questions about the course.
