At Leeds Thomas Danby we are currently enrolling new ESOL learners for the 08/09 year. We have been told that asylum seekers and those receiving section 4 support have no recourse to childcare costs within the college. Effectively, we are turning away lots of mothers who cannot find their own childcare. Just wondering if this is unique to my college or it is national.
Section 4 explained here: http://www.ukba.homeoffice.gov.uk/asylum/support/apply/section4/
