Dear Helen,
I find this site very useful for punctuation, as for other aspects of writing.
http://www.uefap.com
The Cambridge Grammar of English (2006) Carter,R. and McCarthy, M. has a usedul appendix for reference.
It is also useful to compare punctuation conventions across lanaguges, especially those relating to speech in European langauges.
Regards, Elaine
