Me excited too Jacques!
I was just in New York City (where I happened upon this group thanks to
Jack's keynote at Bank Street College) and passed on a plan to do a similar
trapeze class due to finances and a weak wrist that's been bothering me
since last summer. Louise's exhilaration has recaptured my imagination
however - I turned 39 on Friday so will give the wrist a year to recover and
start a trapeze fund to get this life long dream off the ground. I recently
shared with a Grade 5/6 class that until I was about 6 I believed that I
could float anywhere I happened to be going just by deciding that I would
and making myself parallel to the sidewalk! They were wide eyed! Thanks
for sharing your extreme experience Louise!
I'm a full time student right now - and much more - so will quietly go back
to lurking behind stacks of assignments and dishes - but please know the
shared enthusiasm for education shared here is fueling my vision of the
future and my enjoyment of now.
From Kingston, Ontario where everyone's spring fever has been miraculously
cured as sunshine and warmth abounds.
Best wishes of truth and clarity,
Kara Braun
