Hi all,
I just thought I would let you know about the second annual research and practice conference to be run by the Research Centre for Learning and Teaching at Newcastle University on March the 4th in Newcastle:
Learning in Thinking Communities: Research and Practice Conference The Research Centre for Learning and Teaching will be running their second national conference on 4th March 2008 at St James’ Park, Newcastle upon Tyne. This conference aims to provide opportunities for teachers, trainers and researchers in a range of learning contexts to keep up to date with new developments and to build their own capacity and their understanding of how they fit with the contexts and circumstance in which they promote learning. The conference includes a choice from 16 workshops led by teacher-researchers, university researchers and learning professionals as well as key note presentations by Professor Philip Adey from Kings College, London, and Professor Vivienne Baumfield (Glasgow University).
If you would like to find out more about the conference please see the conference website: http://ltc.cflatprojects.org or contact Vivienne Moffett on [log in to unmask]
