There was an article in the last edition of Privacy & Data Protection
journal titled, "The Legality of Recording Telephone Conversations". I can
arrange for a copy to be sent to you if you wish.
Best wishes.

Subject: [data-protection] Recording Telephone Calls
When someone phones a call centre and they are on hold waiting for their
call to be taken we are often told that the call may recorded for
training purposes. Is this a DP requirement or just good practice?
