1) Depending on whether there are negative consequences, I don't know how I
would feel. If it made no material difference to my life, I wouldn't care.
However, since I doubt that this would be the case, I wouldn't be happy.
2) I would go to the police authority and the local / national papers and
embarrass the hell out of the police force until they sorted it out.
