My goodness. Intelligence? Soham? Fancy mentioning those things when
discussing my case. Anyone would think I really did have something to hide. The
"whistleblower" would not have been protected at that time and RIPA was years away
- it was at the time when warrants should be obtained and in this case a
warrant had *not* been applied for. No smoke without fire? We (sorry, folks, I
mean some people) tend to assume that if a person is under investigation they
must have done something wrong and the only people that are found not guilty
are those with expensive or clever lawyers or a technicality has led to their
non-conviction. Here's an alternative thought - some people are actually
innocent and the authorities do sometimes get their wires crossed (pun intended).
