Car comes in for service, owner leaves the car at the premises.
Mechanic takes a photo of the car (its a fairly special old one) and posts
it in the owners' group on Facebook.
Other members of the group cite privacy concerns and report the photo.
Mechanic replies to say owner didn't know but didn't mind anyway.
Any DP / potential DP?
My current thoughts are that the car reg doesn't uniquely id to the members
of the owners' group and therefore there is no issue.
Some are claiming there is confidentiality law but I'm struggling to cite.
For me neither DP or client confidentiality in the medical case etc.
Thanks
Ian
