Would all agree (or not) that audio recordings that can identify an individual are considered ‘personal data’ and therefore have to comply with the provisions of the DPA.
A Food Business Operator undertaking such an activity would be regarded as a Data Controller and should therefore be a) registered with the ICO b)have a FPN easily accessible for the Inspectors to see/read and c) be able to justify the processing in accordance with a Schedule 2 condition as well as complying with the 8 principles.
Would welcome all views.
Many thanks
Derek
