Hello Ian,
You've probably already considered this, but is there no storage facility that she can hire at or very close to her university to negate the need for her to transport all of her stuff everyday?

Subject: Courier for student with physical disability - query
Hi all
Just wondering if anyone has any thoughts / ideas -
A student with a complicated physical disability studying Fine Art has to take study materials (including bulky art projects) between home and university but is unable to carry these items.
She can't use taxis for long journeys because of the nature of her disability, but can use taxis for short journeys so will take a taxi from home to her local tube station, and a taxi from the destination station to the uni. Though she struggles on public transport, walking is much worse. This combination of taxis and tubes appears to be the least worst method of travelling, but she can't transport her art/study materials this way.
She's asked if it might be possible to use a courier company to transport items between home and uni on the days when necessary.
I was just wondering if anyone else has encountered this problem and can either recommend a company that I might be able to get quotes from, has experience of getting the funding approved or even better has any alternative suggestions?
Thanks in advance
Ian Francis
