Subject: Distance learners
Dear all,
We have started to receive more enquiries and disability related support requests from our distance learning students recently. I think this is likely to increase with the need to be offering alternative modes of study to different target groups within the market. We are keen therefore to identify how we can support these disabled students more effectively and review our processes with this in mind.
Can I ask if other disability support teams work with distance learning students? If so, what type of support services are you able to provide? I would be particularly interested in how you manage the ongoing support needs and if you have any key advice from your experiences for us to consider.
All feedback will be gratefully received.
Best wishes,
Hayley
