If I remember correctly, last time it took the community a matter of minutes
to break the ICO's security provisions that "protected" individuals who
subscribed to these updates. Basically, anyone could change any one else's
update preferences.
Has anyone tested the robustness of the ICO's current security provisions?
Shall we try? - We could always ask for a volunteer to oblige us by
registering, then we could all see how long it took before someone else
could access their details!
If they registered tomorrow someone might have penetrated the security
provisions by Friday ....

Subject: ICO Email Alerts
At a meeting yesterday the Assistant Information Commissioner (Wales)
informed that the ICO e-mail alerts are now working. However, those who have
previously subscribed will need to re-subscribe.
