Folks,
Here's a Friday afternoon one for you.
Last night Newcastle United Football Club played a UEFA cup semi-final match to which I had a ticket.
Newcastle United Football Club are also playing host to a film company who are making a film called "Goal" (or something like that) and at the turnstile through which I entered the stadium last night there was a piece of A4 paper taped up on the wall that went something like this (as I didn't have much time to read it due to the queue behind me!).
"Filming is taking place for the film "Goal" and by entering you are consenting to you being part of the film"
My point is that I don't see how that could be deemed to be a fair processing notice as I guess most people entering wouldn't have seen it or realised what it purported to be and secondly if they did object, given that they had paid £25 for the ticket, they would still have gone in.
Thoughts please!
