Wills Hall
University of Bristol
Wednesday 18th July 9.30am - 4.00pm

for disabled users in the South and Southwest of England. Further details of CLAUD can be
found on our website: www.bris.ac.uk/Depts/AccessUnitPRD/CLAUD
This conference is aimed at anyone involved in providing library services to disabled users.
The day's programme will cover the marketing of services in the widest sense, focusing on
promotion and training. The Programme will be varied and will include workshop sessions
relating to a variety of disability issues. The main speakers are Prof. Andrew McDonald and
Jenny Craven. Andrew McDonald is Director of Information Services and Professor of
Information Management and Strategy at the University of Sunderland - an organisation
committed to improving access to learning, particularly to those with disability and
learning difficulty. Jenny Craven is a Research Fellow at the Centre for Research in Library
and Information Management at the Manchester Metropolitan University. Jenny has worked on a
number of research projects, including the British Library and JISC funded REVIEL (Resources
for Visually Impaired users of the Electronic Library) project, published in 1999.
