Does this mean we have to check the passports of international students tosee if we have institutional responsibility to support (fund)
adaptations/support whilst studying?! Do need to do this before offers go
out?

There is also the question of whether there is a stamp on his passportsaying
that he should not have recourse to public funds.

The DDA for education that comes into force in Sept 2002
will cover internationals students. Although that does not
necessarily mean that instititions will be expected to pick
up the tab where DSA is not available. Having to pay for
assessment costs and equipment for personal use at
home could be seen as unreasonable.
