Rosemary,
Please encourage your student to review the CanDo Web site. The site contains
a wealth of specialist information and pointers for students and graduates with
disabilities. If she needs to speak to a Careers Adviser she should
investigate what is available at your institution. Your advisers will also be
able to tap into the CanDo Web site and also the expertise and support of the
AGCAS Disabilities Sub-Committee (details of this are on the Web site).

I have a mature hearing impaired student with a degenerative hearing
loss
condition studying for a degree in Leisure and Tourism. She would like
some specific career advice in view of her disabiltiy. Any ideas about
where I could direct her?
Thanks.
