I thought that someone was going wrong with my software because, when
I added the most recent data, in my graph of cumulative Covid-19
cases for Iran, per data from WHO and JHU, only the WHO curve was
visible - but I then discovered that it was totally 'overlying' and
obscuring the JHU curve.
When I explored this situation, with the exception of just one day, I
find that on every day of reporting, the figures from JHU and the
most recent figures from WHO (dated the previous day) are totally
identical, the one exception being the difference between 139 and 141
cases on 26th February.
It therefore seems that, at least for some countries, there is only a
single source of data available to both WHO and JHU.
Kind Regards,
John
