Gender effects and coronavirus It seems clear that A. Coronavirus overwhelmingly kills older people. B. Older people tend to be female One would expect therefore to find C. Coronavirus tends to.kill women. However the opposite is the case, I.e. C'. Coronavirus kills men more than women This suggests quite a strong gender effect in favour of women.
