I presume they will advise obvious contacts (immediate
family/co-habitants, close work colleagues etc.) to self-isolate but,
beyond that, I rather doubt that they will bother with 'contract
tracing' - not the least because, even if they did, it would probably
have little impact on the spread of the virus ....
... the great majority of infected people will have mild illnesses,
and they have now been told to self-isolate, without telling anyone
and without being tested. Hence, even if contract tracing were
undertaken in the minority of infected people whose illness happened
to be serious enough for them to be hospitalised, I don't think that
would have much impact on the big picture, would it?
