Yes, I understand that, but, as I implied, I think that one needs to
find a balance (in the context of what resources one has) between
providing data more frequently and providing it more reliably/accurately.
It's obviously very different from a situation in which one's data
is, say, a series of measurements on a machine, or even a series of
clinical measurements. Acquiring and checking the Covid-19 data is
much more complicated and labour-intensive and I think that,
realistically, one needs to have a reasonable time lag between when
the data is first acquired and when it is 'published', in order that
a reasonable amount of 'pre-publication checking' can be
undertaken. If I wasn't given time to proof-read documents (reports
etc.) I produce, I hate to think what some of them would look like!
