In case anyone else is (like me) using automated processes to read
the daily JHU .csv files, in order to avoid any surprises note that
in the latest file issued they have changed the descriptors of two
countries - ironically both being ones in which I have had the most
recent interest!
In the second column/field of the file (headed "Country/Region") ...
What previously was "Iran" is now "Iran (Islamic Republic of)"
What previously was "South Korea" is now "Republic of Korea"
Kind Regards,
John
