They've just published Situation Report #44 (today). This indicates
that, in the last 24 hours, the number of confirmed cases in the US
rose by 44, and the number of deaths in the US rose by 4, bringing
the totals for 'today' to 108 confirmed cases and 6 deaths. That may
enable you to work out roughly 'how far behind' the WHO are in their
figures for the US.
However, if they are significantly not-up-to-date with the US
situation (a country with which they presumably have fairly good
communication), it begs the question about the up-to-dateness of the
rest of the figures they are telling us.

That's also the chronic situation in the UK and, ironically, we have
traditionally been fairly reliant (in order to even half-manage the
situation) on nurses from SE Asia - a situation which is probably
worsening since we left the EU, since we had also been using a lot of
nurses from the EU (particularly Spain), and nurses here are paid so
poorly that they might not satisfy the requirements of the new
points-based' immigration policy (which will now also apply to EU
citzens) we are apparently about to implement. Hopefully someone
sensible will see the need for 'exceptions'!
Kind Regards, John
