An interesting addition, according to the DSA-QAG framework Appendix 13: Telephone Assessment Guidance, 'Assessment Centres unable to offer mobile assessments are not authorised to perform telephone assessments.' So to ask us to breach our DSA-QAG framework document and risk our registration is poor.

Subject: Re: SFE review of needs issue
Hi
Will be interested in the responses to this. I recently saw a student who'd been sent from Portsmouth to London for his review! I was a bit surprised to say the least.
There must be some common sense leeway here i.e. at least allowing the student to ask if a more local centre will be willing to carry out the review?
I don't think telephone assessments are the answer - review assessments are more complicated than you'd think (despite what those who make these kind of decisions seem to think!)
