Could someone who knows about these things explain a few things about the
message sent to this group at 11.27 yesterday morning (not quoted here for
obvious reasons):
a) was it a breach of data protection, in that all the addresses to
which it was sent can be seen if the message source code is inspected (which
is what I always do first with odd-looking mail)?
b) was it actually a fake message sent out by a rogue (and possibly
malicious) message?
c) why was it not automatically intercepted before being relayed to
the group?
It is possible that some members of the group didn't receive it, as their
systems might have trapped the message before delivering it.
