Dear Jolene, I am also interested in this as I am doing some work for RIBA on supporting disabled students and one thing I had in mind was recommending the use of Facebook. If you are able to forward any responses to me on the use of Facebook or twitter I would be very grateful,
Regards
Sandra

Hello,
We have been discussing the use of the same and I was about to email DIS
forum. I can see that Phil has already done this, and I have seen the on
list responses. I would like to ask if it is possible for those of you
who replied off list could also share your experiences with us too
please?
I am also interested in hearing about how facebook has been used, what
problems were encountered. I would also appreciate hearing from you if
you have looked into and decided not to use facebook and the reasons
behind this decision.
Regards
Jolene

Subject: Using Facebook to connect with students
Hi,
As the subject line says I am interested in hearing from colleagues who
have or are considering using a Facebook page to connect with users of
Disability Support Services. I am particularly interested in hearing
about how you used it, the problems you encountered and the positives
you found of using it. I am also keen to hear from those of you who
have looked into it and decided not to use it and the reasons behind
this decision. Feel free to comment on or off list.
Many thanks,
Phil
