dear michael
whilst I do not deal with exam arrangements as part of my role, I have
had fibromyalgia myself for over 20 years. my gut instinct is to try
and accommodate the students wishes as much as possible. a large
majority of people with fibromyalgia often have additional concerns
and the peace of mind knowing the extra time is there if need be will
be a huge relief. anxiety can be exacerbated if the student is anxious
about runnning out of time
hope this helps
