Dear all,
Here at UWE we have been discussing the same idea, with a focus on how
to provide disabled students with the skills to make the best use of
their support workers and on how to encourage students to take up the
SpLD tuition recommended in their assessments. Any ideas/programmes,
especially on how to attract disabled students to such an event, would
be very welcome,
ATB
Claire

Subject: Induction event for new students
Dear All
Here at Sheffield University, we are planning to run our first induction
event this coming September for new disabled and dyslexic students who
are registering with our service.
If your institution currently runs any induction/welcome activities,
would you be willing to share your programme of events with us?
Please reply to my email address [log in to unmask]
best wishes
Louise
