Some of the answers to your questions are in the documents but in
essence-
It's the responsibility of student's home department to identify
students needing a PEEP at admission stage and ensure one is carried out
- preferably before a student starts.
We at the Disability Centre also liaise to make sure departments are
aware of students who might need a PEEP.
The PEEP is always carried out with the student present.
Hope this is helpful

Subject: Evacuation plans
Dear all
We are currently reviewing our PEEPS (Personal Emergency Evacuation
Procedures) policy for students in all areas of the University including
residential buildings and would appreciate members feedback on the
queries below regarding their PEEPS procedure and best practise.
* Are your PEEPS drawn up by one department/individual or as a
cross departmental exercise?
* Which department's) are tasked with or involved in drawing up
PEEPS?
* Who decides which students require a PEEP?
* Do you draw up generic or template PEEPS for certain groups of
students and/or certain areas that you amend to suit or is each PEEPS
drawn up from scratch?
* How much student involvement in the PEEPS completion do you
require?
* Who signs off the completed PEEP?
* Is the PEEP in place prior to the student arrival?
* How often and by whom is the PEEP reviewed?
* At what point in the student application process is the PEEP
compiled?
All replies (and copies of PEEP documents if possible) will be very much
appreciated.
Many thanks,
