Hi all,
I am looking into updating the sticker system/guidelines for marking
the written work of Deaf students; I have found some good advice on
the internet from RNID and various other universities, but all seem to
refer only to students who are profoundly deaf.
Does anyone use a sticker system/marking guidelines for students who
are Hard of Hearing? For those who have significant hearing impairment
but are not totally deaf, they may also experience the similar, or
less severe, difficulties in picking up and using language as totally
deaf students do. I imagine this will affect their written work in the
same way.
If anyone can give me any advice on guidelines/policies they use for
marking the work of Deaf and hard of hearing students, it would be
greatly appreciated!
Thanks,
Alexandra
