What people don't do here is routinely "trim" their postings (as I have
made the effort to do below). As a result, almost uniquely amongst the
emails or lists which I receive, each posting tends to get bigger and
bigger, and more and more confused as to which is the latest material
added.

Nor will some of us ever let quirks in proprietary software like Outlook
dictate the way we work. What's so difficult about getting an email
client that defaults to doing things the right way, rather than upside
down?
