Thanks for the responses
As a charity, we sometimes share lists - it doesn't happen much these days
(and yes it is with people who have 3rd party permissions).
Therefore we will have to enter every itsmypost.com email into our system.
I have asked the DMA, Info Com helpline and yes, we will have to enter
them - how can I be sure that a decision to stop 3rd party transfers will
ever be overturned.
Before itsmypost - we could easily deal with any suppressions / changes of
address - after one week, we have some concerns
I advise people to check they are not on the list (I am sure you would know
by now
You can just go down a list and double click every charity or business and
the email goes out to them naming and identifying the individual under the
email address [log in to unmask]
I would still love to talk to any charities who are going to addressing
this soon
What I find hard is that people don't understand I have no problem with
consumer rights and giving people choice etc - it's just hard as a charity
when something comes out of the blue and more resources have to be found
working onnon project work for people who may never have (ever no or in the
future!) been on one of our lists anyway.
