I would be very interested to hear from other charities who are starting to
see the extra workload itsmypost.com is giving us.
I have no problem at all with people opting in/out or shaking it about (and
we have systems for this), but my understanding that we are getting people
who are not on our lists / never likely to be on our lists asking us to
suppress mailings is going to result in more money spent on manually adding
these email requests onto our database system so we can suppress them. (so
in theory having their data - do they realise this?)
It's going to take that extra effort to raise the money to fund the time to
have someone enter names of people who dont want our data... and were never
going to get it.... phew...
Someone has come up with a great idea - I just wish it wasn't so shopping
cart like and you only selected people who are actually sending you rubbish.
Oh well - enough of my non-technical rant
