The Aimhigher National Activity, AchieveAbility: Breaking Barriers to HE
for students with specific learning difficulties, is holding a national
conference in Birmingham on Friday 4th March 2005.
Aimhigher practitioners, SENCOs, FE/HE disability advisors/officers, FE/HE
widening participation staff, school/FE/HE teachers/lecturers, and SpLD
experts are invited to attend.
The Conference aims to:
raise awareness of SpLD conditions and provision across the sector
inform participants about the AchieveAbility Project
promote further dialogue to support roll out to the regions
The conference is being offered free of charge, however all places should
