My (strictly amateur) advice was going to be to keep out of it. You can't
win either way, someone is going to feel hard done by, so I would be looking
for the most cautious approach. If the aggrieved customer B can find an
appropriate legal device to get the information from you, or decides to go
to the police, you'll have a leg to stand on. However, at the moment, I
think a polite refusal to get involved is probably the safest course. I
don't see anything that obliges you to disclose the data.
