The main issue for me is transparency in order to comply with the first
Principle. There seems little doubt that the sharing is compliant with
either or both of the fifth (public functions) or sixth (legitimate
interests) Schedule 2 Conditions, so there is no question of getting their
consent to the sharing, but the individuals must be informed that the
information will be shared, and for what if any secondary purposes. (If
they don't like it, that's too bad, but they could conceivably object under
s.10 (damage or distress) if they had a serious concern.)
