I thought that I would check the ICO site before I pack up and go home. To
my amazement there are 3 new pieces of guidance on the site.
1. Press releases- 'UK businesses urged to end Data Protection jargon' 7
June2005. The press release says that there are FPN templates now on the
website but they are really hard to access. I eventually found them by
searching for Data Protection Forum, June 2005 and there is a 124 page
research report on Fair Processing Notifications.
2. If you search in Data Protection Technical Guidance notes, there is an
article entitled 'Freedom of Information: access to information about public
authorities' employees', 31 May 2005
3. There is also another article in Technical Guidance of particular
interest,' Providing Personal Account Information to a third party', again
31 May 2005
