Hello,
We've recently received a request Subject Access Request from a women well
known for making complaints to the Council. We have a huge file of
information, which consists of her letters to us, and our responses. In a
few of these complaints letters, she mentions various neighbors by name
who she is in dispute with. I am just wondering if I should be editing out
the names of her neighbors from her letters, even though she wrote them in
the first place, because it is personal information about a third party. I
am new to being the Data Protection Officer, so apologies if this is a
basic question.
Thanks very much in advance for any responses,
Hope
