Gillian,
S33A (1) (e) as added by the FOI Act says that category e data are exempt
from part III - which is the part relating to notification.

Subject: [data-protection] Notification & unstructured personal data
Dear List-serve members
Has anyone started to wrestle in reviewing the DP notification form and
working out whether we have to notify the Information Commissioner that the
organisation holds schedule 'e' data.
I phoned the DP notification helpline and was told that if my purposes were
the same, I did not have to mention schedule 'e' data as schedule 'e' would
be covered by Personal details.
Is this generally agreed?
