I would appreciate your views on this. Internal Audit had access to our old payroll system which was solely all information relating to employees' salary, NI, Tax etc.
We are in the process of installing a new HR/Payroll system. The new system will hold details of an employee's sickness records and any disciplinary details etc. Do Internal Audit have an automatic right of access to this type of information? I am tended to refuse but am sure I would get my knuckles wrapped.
